KINDNESSforBusiness: HOW FAR ALONG IS THE PROJECT

News

Time to school is also arrived for the KINDNESSForBusiness Team! The summer break has been particularly long this year but the team stayed active. While some gathered in Campania to reflect about kindness, others walked in mountains erecting cairns while another moved. When one came back to Brescia, the other went to Brittany; when one returned to Turin, another moved to Lausanne. With this constant back-and-forth, the time constraints and restrictions imposed by the pandemic – you can believe us or not – the entire team has not yet come together!

However, our determination, a zest of organization and the pursuit of our dream of developing the knowledge platform around kindness have allowed to lay a few stones: so many actions that will bring our project to a strong and ambitious reality in 2021.
Our first action was obviously to define the business model and the strategic plan of KindnessForBusiness: done! For this, we used a wonderful tool called the Karabirdt, a resource particularly suited to our sociocratic and non-synchronic teamwork. Thank to it, we identified around 40 activities to carry out the project. We will soon devote an article to this tool and share with you how we have used it.
We have also built fruitful bridges with other realities, like prestigious universities and business schools in other countries such as Switzerland and Great Britain. So, we started to gather knowledge. We are very happy and honoured that these authors trust us and believe in KINDNESSForBusiness. But to read them, you must be a little bit patient waiting for the launch of the platform. In this regard, we have obviously made progress on the technological dimension of the project by retaining an open-source CMS. The workload is not trivial. Also, if you want to join us, your help will be welcome!
Finally, because the reality of kindness is very large – also in its multicultural dimension – we looked for giving it a definition*. Here is the cloud representation we are happy to offer you. We hope this little gift will inspire you! This first tool is a small stone to diffuse our will to craft small or big changes. In these times of great uncertainty, we all need it.

Kind regards!
The KINDNESSForBusiness Team
